I have been reading that this is too long for some ball jars, Well, did you know that there are several jars that will fit a ball jar top? I am using a classico sauce jar which is a mason jar for my honey, Fits nicely. Using a glass jar, you can warm up the honey if it crystalizes unlike a shaped jar, plastic or other fancy jar. You need to press the dipper top into the underside of the mason screw on ring and it snaps in, so far so good.

I like that this allows me to seal my honey from any sweet loving insects, and also has the spiral to dish up servings as needed.

We really like this as the honey stays much fresher in a glass jar. Did not have a problem with the stick being too long, but you really need to push it into the hole until it snaps in all the way.

I love that it's stainless and not wood so I can easily wash it and switch to different honey. It easily comes off of the dipper part

It's the ring that needs to fit the Jarware Honey Dipper. The ring that worked for me is the Masontops Tough Band, the opening is a bit larger than the rings I use for canning food.

My daughter loves tea with honey so we go through a lot of honey. I buy raw local honey so I didn't want spoons or other things in the jar, this is so nice to just unscrew the top and drizzle honey in the tea!

I had used another wooden type and when I went to clean it it warped so I tried this one and i tis absolutely perfect. I get a good dollop of honey for my tea and it gets most of the honey off the spiral.

Perfect for the Mason jar honey, except that mine is a taller jar, so the dipper doesn't go all the way down. Hubs likes the convenience and will tilt or swirl as needed.
