Quality lamp hardware, well built, nice finish, and the punched hole effect is wonderful. I put this on my side yard, outdoors- but I had to modify it for the rain because this is not supposed to be used outside. It's clearly stated somewhere in the packaging. I used rubber splicing tape which vulcanizes to seal out the moisture/ water from getting into the electrical parts. Also ran a bead of sealant around the top and sides of the fixture against the stucco. It's on a timer and comes on for several hours at sunset. Too bad my neighbors get to enjoy it more than I do!
