The hole on the side is way too high up. The moment you screw the adapter in, all your CO2 will shoot out of the emergency pressure hole like many others have stated. I am wondering what bottles these things were even designed for. At first i thought it was an Oring issue, but using another regulator designed for paintball canisters, this issue is not repeatable, meaning the adapter is just not compatible. The vendor should list what bottles these things will work on, so people like me do not have to waste our CO2 and time trying to get it work.

A little bit of Teflon tape and a wrench and it worked perfectly to step down my co2 regulator to a paintball co2 tank. Perfect size to hide behind a series of book on a bookshelf.

Used for an aquarium regulator. When you screw the tank into this adapter, it cuts into the O ring on the end of your tank. Your CO2 then leaks out through the hole in the side of the adapter. The hole is there so that when you connect or disconnect the tank, the liquid CO2 doesn't contact the O ring and destroy it. That's a great feature, except the threads have already destroyed the O ring. Get a different adapter.

So far havent been able to get it to stop leaking even with a nylon smash washer. Ill change the rating if i ever get it to stop leaking
