The first one I got sent wasn't even assembled right and the next one I got I pretty much useless it's good with sanding pads but if you use grinder bits in it it just jumps everywhere and the neck always gets lose and I have to remove the collet piece every time I want to change out something it definitively has power for sanding but my dewalt grinder has none of these problems pretty sad coming from ingersoll rand and on top of that ingersoll rand told me to put oil in the tool when it's a oil free tool you don't put gas in a oil free tool just saying.

Compared to similar devices, IR is a nice addition from a Cost / Performance stand point. As a General Contractor we are always looking for the best tool for the job first and cost second. Most of my air tools are IR and couldnt be happier.
