This telescope is made from chrome aluminum and comes with a beautiful wooden box with brass inlaid anchor design. The telescope will magnify far away objects and landscapes with a clear image. The scope extends to a full 6" and can retract to fit into its own ornate box. It can be focused by fully extending the entire body of the telescope, then slowly contracting and expanding the eyepiece portion only. The magnification is approximately 3x.

It is small (634; extended as described; 334; collapsed), I admit, but it makes a perfect desk curio and conversation piece. I bought the first one and it focused clearly. I do not know why anyone is complaining about not being able to focus it, maybe they are unfamiliar with telescopes.... they have to be fully extended. The box is well made, sturdy and attractive. And here is NO stinky smell. I liked it so much that I bought a second, and I am buying more as stocking stuffers. The price is perfect for the size and function. I am disappointed with other companies that charge twice as much and more. They are scalping the public. This company charges an honest price for an honest (and functional) product.. I paid $6 for the first one and $7 for the second. I call that 34;The Sweet Spot34;

I got this for my 3 year old nephew and he loves it! The little box that it comes in is cute and he loves putting it in and taking it out. Also, the telescope feels sturdy and it magnifies pretty well. Definitely worth the price!

Such a cute present for my best friends 5 year old little boy. Its small but it was the favorite present at christmas and the kids all fought over who got to play with it next! I bought a pirate coin that i placed in the box. It comes w a very nice little wooden box and was much better quality than i expected for under 10 bucks. I wish i had taken pictures but the boys loved it. It is a classic little toy that the kids feel is grown up and mom says she likes it because it is small enough to throw in her purse and she hands to him on car rides and when they go out..
