Mission: Poverty Prevent Children From Getting A Basic Education. 11.6M Filipinos ‘illiterate’, half of them children. The people make less than $2.00 per day. Many are single parents. They cannot feed their children let alone pay $25.00 a year for schooling. This is the reason that illiteracy is passed down. These unschooled children are in the streets or are in high-risk but low-paying jobs. Your donation will change the world for a child!
Results: Since 2008 our family has funded schools in the Philippines. We find that we cannot do enough. The Hesser Foundation established this non profit endowment in 2015 for students who have certain financial hardships that make it impossible to pay for the costs of enrollment fees and school supplies. Our office space is donated and we do not take salaries in order to have your donation go farther. Because helping an individual child only goes so far, we added volunteer community-level interventions. We are working in very small cities untouched by mainstream organizations.
