The scale is fine. Unfortunately the numbers on the arm for height are backwards. The numbers go down instead of going up as a person gets taller.

When trying to hook onto the silver metal tab under the foot plate the tab was installed backwards in manufacturing. Also under the foot plate the black metal arm that the silver tab goes into was misaligned for the tiny bolt to hold it together. Had to file the slot in the black metal arm so that this tiny screw could then go into the silver tab bracket, etc. Had to do minor adjustment of the balance weight to set zero seems to be working OK. After all this my husband was not really a "happy camper".
