Mission: The mission of community-driven HPR is to educate, inform, connect, and entertain.

Founded in 1981, member-supported Hawai'i Public Radio provides two streams that are broadcast statewide over the air, and also made available via the web, smart speakers, and the HPR app. HPR-1 features news, talk, and a variety of music, and HPR-2 is your home for classical music.

Hawaii Public Radio is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1976, and donations are tax-deductible.
