My lady and I flip furniture. It's a passion for her, and for me it lets me build my DIY skills. Furniture restoration is a long process, so any tools that speed things up are worth their weight in gold. I keep an eye out for these tools, so when I saw this I had to jump. Furniture jigs are a lifesaver. They half-automate processes that are tedious time sinks. This is one of those lifesaving jigs. It arrives in a nice storage case, fully padded and intact. Even though these are metal I love that they made the effort to keep them pristine. It includes the jig, a punch, bolts and allen keys. The goal of this jig is to simplify installing drawer and cabinet pulls. Doing it with a ruler is GRUELING. You're triple checking everything, drilling holes, and if you mess up it's on a surface that's going to be seen and so now you're patching and repainting. This jig allows you quickly find the center, measure the pulls out to where you want them, and drill your hole. It cuts the time of this process down to half. Now this may seem minor, but a couple of minutes (when you're fast at it, potentially several if you're new) times eight drawers really adds up. And if you have to patch and paint it could delay you another 30 minutes. This is a REALLY nice jig. Unlike some cheaper jigs each of the hardware drill holes has very accurate adjustment settings so that you can really dial in. The adjustment knobs make it super quick to change distances. The jig is large, which makes it more stable and easier to tell if something isn't level. The fit and finish are so nice, the whole thing just screams quality. Even the color is so pretty! Overall this is a stellar furniture jig. The fit and finish are excellent, the measurements are well marked, the case is very nice, and overall it's just a quality piece. For the price it's totally worth the investment. I recommend!
