Used to replace an old epicure woofer. Sounds great has louder and more accurate bass then the epicure woofer it replaced. Only strange thing is the impedance is a little high at 8.9 ohm. Well built with cast frame, vented pole, high power connectors and butyl rubber surrounds that will outlast the foam surrounds that deteriorated off the original epicure woofer.

I'm no audiophile, but the 18 year old sub it replaced in my theater set sounded pretty bad. This sounds clean and clear. It's no monster, but it does exactly what I needed it to.I had to enlarge the mounting hole in the enclosure. So I guess it may be a bit larger than standard.

This sub was a drop-in fit in a Polk Audio PSW10 enclosure, even the mounting holes lined up perfectly.The original driver would rattle so I replaced it with this driver. No more rattle, although I now believe the problem was with Polk's plastic trim ring.
