Mission: The mission of gilda's club madison is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

Programs: Gilda's club madison provides free emotional support, cancer education, and hope to children and adults impacted by any kind of cancer. As part of an international group of affiliates of the cancer support community, gilda's club was established because of the vision of comedienne gilda radner. Radner's vision was to reach out to all those who are affected by cancer and to ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Founded with love by cancer survivors, we officially opened the doors of gilda's club madison on august 18,2008.By the close of 2017, gilda's club madison grew to host a bank of over 3,000 members. The need for our community is great as over 33,000 people in wisconsin are diagnosed with cancer each year. Programs include emotional support groups, health and fitness classes, informative lectures, and fun social events. There is something here for all who are touched by cancer and all programming is free of charge.
