Our first offering from the "Saturated Superheros" known as Fatworks, is their famous 100% Grass-Fed Beef Tallow. Sourced from 100% Grass Fed beef and fine filtered to assure ultimate purity and consistency. Tallow has a surprisingly mild yet delicious flavor that has been enjoyed for generations as a versatile and delicious cooking oil or shortening.
Suggested Uses: Great for medium to high heat cooking. This real fat is not only the secret to cooking pies like grandma use to, it is also great in stews, chili, soup and for sautéing veggies, eggs... and of course let's not forget those famous tallow fries! It's also great for making lotions or just for rubbing straight on dry skin.

If you have ever wondered why grandma's pies were just always a little bit special, well, the answer is tallow. Besides baking, it's also wonderful for sautéing and of course for frying. Tallow can also be used for making traditional homemade lotions and salves.
Fatworks fats can have seasonal color variations. Since the seasonal changes effect pasture raised animals our fats color can change from batch to batch. This is nothing to be alarmed about and in fact we embrace these seasonal differences. We do no bleaching or hydrogenation.
Also, we wanted to remind you that our fats are very robust and can be reused several times if properly filtered. We recommend unbleached coffee filters!
