Very handy to have a righty/lefty tape measure. The others I have were at times difficult to read upside down - this makes it very easy to work and measure!

This is what I needed in a tape measure. It really helps to be able to measure from either direction without reading upside-down. I also love having the fractions printed right there. I can't be trying to figure out those hash marks. This makes things a little more foolproof. Anyone can make an error, even a pro. This makes that less likely and helps me produce a product that my boss is willing to have paid me to spend time on. I don't know what the tape is actually made of, but it seems somehow less harsh on your materials than a traditional tape.

Known about this a long time, just decided to get one when my other went bad. Easy to read and make my marks with right hand. Have always used tape in my left hand. Write right handed.

It's an ok tape. takes accurate measurement, the writing space is handy. I work with a carpentry/renovation outfit and we do just about everything-- If I could go back i'd get the tape with less markings in favor of clearer foot-markings. Tape recall and lock have each- been slow/sticking after a few days of cutting hardie siding; guessing the mechanism cant handle the fiber-cement dust. I find the clip allows it to be stripped from my belt more easily than the traditional clips. I miss having the larger-size hook of my other tape. Probably better to keep in the garage shop than to take to projects.

This tape is very easy to read. Maybe the easiest of all my tapes. The hook is surprisingly stiff makes the measurements very accurate. I'm really surprised how good this tape is at the price.

This is a great tape measure. I am constantly looking at a tape measure upside down and have misread the numbers constantly. This solves that problem! Comes with a built in writing surface and a pencil sharpener.
