Its a great little tape... solves the upside down misread the number problem. I like the notepad to mark the numbers. Just would like the foot numbers to be larger... you'll only be using inches when you use this tape. The pencil sharpener is almost useless.

I love the tape measure, because you can read it from either side. The only downfall is that it's heavy.

VERY GOOD TAPE FOR MEASURING.

It works great for a woodworker, but isn't great for estimating jobs as the foot measurements are not clearly visible.

Very handy to have a righty/lefty tape measure. The others I have were at times difficult to read upside down - this makes it very easy to work and measure!

Well the idea I've had for 19 years finally turned real. Writing measurements on the tape itself. Thank you so much! I love it. So I worked today with the one of these tapes. I drew measurements probably 70 times with it today. I know every 16th of a tape, but these tapes are marked up for dummies. The thing I really love is that I can write down and erase my measurements. Thank you for that! Beyond that. It's a good tape. The pencil sharpener only fits normal pencils. Not carpenter pencils. I don't use normal pencils. The fact that the tape is left/right is great. The tape is embodied in a soft rubber coating. It has a really nice belt clip and is soft on all sides which is great. The action of the tape is quick and pretty quiet. I hen retracted this tape will bite, so keep the fatty part and f your fingers safe. All in all a great tape.

I bought this because I like my other FastCap tape a lot and wanted a second, longer one in the shop. This works just as well as the original!

Great tape measure. Measurement identification on both sides of the tape saves me lots of trouble and frustration since I am left handed. Very accurate. The only reason it has four stars is because I feel it is cheaply made. It seems to work so far but it feel that it will break on me. great concept. I hope they come out with the more heavy duty upgrade.

Some of the added features (pencil sharpener) have questionable value under my normal usage scenario, but the basic performance of this tape measure is solid. I particularly like the clarity of the black/white print, the reversible nature so it can be read both ways, and the locking mechanism. This brand isn't as famous as some others, but it is the favorite tape I have owned. The price is also very competitive, so I would recommend this tape over some of the 25 ft competitors.
