Solves the problem of reading the tape backwards and upside down.

Just what I wanted. Have read reviews that says it breaks easily. Have had no problems with it.

So I've got to share my two cents. I am a professional cabinet maker and install kitchens for a living. I have purchased this tape measure twice and gone threw two completely. I will agree that the tape does not last as long as my old Stanleys but I keep reaching for this tape. It is accurate, extremely easy to read and use, and holds over long distances so you don't need a helper to measure long distances. Bottom line is that although it is not as rugged as some tape measures it is the best one I've found at making a pros life easier. With that in mind I will replace them when they break and write off the expense on taxes.

Nice tape measure. Clear markings to the 16th of an inch. I'm getting old eyes aren't too great anymore and the memory isn't to great either. The clear markings really reduced incorrect measurements. I have not had any problems with the riveted tab, my recommendation for a lose tab is to just tap them with a hammer.

Does it job fine, but personally I don't find the numbers any easier to read than the standard yellow type. This isn't worth the extra money

Very easy to read which is helpful for someone as clumsy as me. I will always use this measurer from now on!

Finally a left hand read measuring tape with built in pencil sharpening and erasable scratch pad and belt clip. I was looking for a tape measure that I could read with out reading the numbers upside down. I ran across the Fastcap Lefty/Righty Measuring Tape and found exactly what I have been looking for. Exceeds everything I wanted. I have used it a handful of times and am very happy with the quality and use of the easy to read numbers. Thanks.

I am surprised at how good this tape measure is. I bought it so I can use it 34;up side down34; but was pleasantly surprised to discover the finger/trigger on the bottom to restrict retraction and the pencil sharpener built into the back corner. This order was for one more after a previous order for two. My father liked it so much I gave him one. I can say that my cuts are more accurate and I make less mistakes using this tape over the ones I have purchased from the big box stores.

Some of the added features (pencil sharpener) have questionable value under my normal usage scenario, but the basic performance of this tape measure is solid. I particularly like the clarity of the black/white print, the reversible nature so it can be read both ways, and the locking mechanism. This brand isn't as famous as some others, but it is the favorite tape I have owned. The price is also very competitive, so I would recommend this tape over some of the 25 ft competitors.
