The large ferrite motor and proprietary frame design allows enough clearance for over 36 mm of peak to peak excursion without issue, ensuring reliable performance even when driven to its limits.
FaitalPRO 10RS430 10" Professional Woofer 8 Ohm
The 10RS430 10" professional subwoofer is designed to produce powerful bass output from compact enclosure designs. This driver uses a massive heat resistant ferrite motor with venting through the pole piece and frame to deliver high output with minimal power compression, even when driven to it's limits for long periods. With a 2.5" voice coil wound on a fiberglass former, the 10RS430 can handle up to 400 watts RMS with issues.
Thanks to a bumped back plate, there is ample room for high excursion, and the long voice coil gives this driver an Xmax of over 13 mm for maximum air displacement. A half roll rubber surround and large diameter flat spider keeps the cone excursion linear. The rigid frame is constructed of cast aluminum and designed to take the beating that the professional sound environment is known for. Faital Pro's 10RS430 is a great choice for use in any subwoofer designs where you need high output capability but size is a concern, such as compact DJ systems, portable PA's, and even car audio systems.
