Mission: Desert Hockey Development (DHD) is a community outreach non-profit organization founded in 2013.We are dedicated to building kids through youth hockey in Arizona and, eventually, the rest of the Southwest US. The significant initial equipment investment hockey requires isn’t something to be taken lightly just to “see if my kid likes hockey”. We offer opportunities to children and their parents to give what we consider the best sport in the world a try without sacrificing monetarily. For example, we provide a light meal after our free hockey clinics.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 1,000 encounters with kids aged 4-14
