Drove a pair of these in the rear doors of a Ram 2500 with a 4 channel Pioneer 1000w amp. Set the crossover around 200 hertz. It had a good tight bass sound. I was hearing some rattling at certain frequency until I closed the doors. Probably an air pressure thing. I had to grind the openings out a bit and drill new holes. It wasn't a direct fit.

Wow this was a replacement for a subwoofer driver in a Yamaha sub that came with the system.The original Yamaha had a woofer that was making cracking noises during hard bass notes.Looking at the specs this was a 97 drop in replacement for the size of the box and port.Now the sub plays at FULL volume not problems. There are not signs of fatigue or distortion.

So I have used Dayton drivers for many years. They hold up and are well made. Never had one fail or lose it's magnetic field like other drivers over the years do. They last a long time. So here I am again purchasing this 6-1/2 Subwoofer to replace what came in a Bestisan sub. It fit perfectly and performs better. The Dayton digs deeper and distorts less. Very happy with Dayton drivers as always.

I never do reviews, but I just had to for this great little subwoofer.. I replaced my worn out sub in my Klipsch THX 2.1 computer sound system.. and it thumps... Turned it all the way up loud as it'll go and there's no distortion whatsoever this thing sounds like a 12 sub I promise you you will not be disappointed

I have a subwoofer that's rather small sitting on a big workbench in the phone rotted out and I replaced it with this speaker and the sound, the punch and the base is absolutely amazing!This speaker is very high-quality you can tell by the materials use and the way the wires plug-in if you look closely at the picture notice how you can enter a bullet plug in the side you push down or you can put a RAW wire in there it will except different ways of wiring it makes it so easy this is definitely worth the money !

These things slam for their size , I have 2 in a 1.5 ft vented box on 100 watts rms and they go as deep as a kicker c12 inch subwoofer on the same power

I using this in a 2.1 setup for my office. I built a 0.5 ft^3 box out of 3/4 MDF tuned to 42 Hz. The amp I'm using is a Lepai LP210PA with a 19V 6.32A power supply. The sub is getting at most 60 watts which I think is more than enough for a small room. With music it can hit all the low notes. Movies on the other hand I think it's a little lacking, but this thing isn't designed to play that low.I've very happy with it.
