The PRO-X6.4M 6-1/2" pro midrange speaker from DS18 is designed to bring concert level output capabilities to the car audio market. A low mass paper cone and powerful motor gives the PRO-X6.4M great efficiency and the ability to hit extreme sound pressure levels. This is a great choice for filling in the midbass and midrange frequencies in any high SPL sound systems.

Built for clean and realistic midrange at maximum SPL, DS18's PRO-X6.4M 6-1/2" pro midrange driver can deliver concert level output with audiophile quality sound. The lightweight non-pressed paper cone and copper coated aluminum voice coil wire keeps moving mass low for dynamic response. That low mass combined with a powerful motor ensure high efficiency and excellent control. With a massive ferrite magnet and 1.5" high temperature voice coil former, the PRO-X6.4M can take up to 225 watts RMS continuously with minimal power compression. This driver will be an excellent addition to high output sound systems built to blow away the competition.
During the focused R&D period of perfecting thier PRO-EXL line, DS18 identified the opportunity to spawn off another line since there was a division amongst competition and concert audiophiles. Therefore, DS18 created the PRO audio line, which features a wide variety of midranges that produce concert-like sounds that will knock the wind out of you!

Brand new out of the package, the frame was bent. There also was a chip on the bottom of the magnet (no big deal) but can't put a bent speaker in my door speaker templates for my build!
