Works well once filled. A pain to fill up though with sand/water. A wider opening would have made more sense

If you fill it with sand it will withstand a monsoon hurricane force winds. Last week we had a huge storm come through and it was strong enough to knock down part of my cinderblock fence. My umbrella did not budge.
