This is really easy to use. In fact I have this on my foot right now. It is really helped over the last month or two with pain from ankle surgery after a motorcycle wreck. It is hard to massage or stretch my ankle because I have lost range of motion. The tens unit can loosen some of those muscles that I can't get to because of metal plates and mobility. I get about 15 applications out of each set of pads. Get extra pads if you're going to use this regularly.

The battery did not last long. I was using the machine once to twice a week for 30 minutes since I bought the machine .

It works nicely and I noticed that the strength of the pulses in this unit are stronger than what other units provide. I am unsure why that is, maybe due to the voltage of the battery... I ended up buying two if these, the first one I bought ended up breaking, or at least my father said that it didn't work when he put a battery in. The only thing that is annoying about this unit is the fact that there are only a few patterns. I enjoy one of them but the others are a little off-putting. Either way, this is a solid option for those who want to buy a tens unit, what ever you purpose for it may be.
