My plantar fasciitis started in both feet when I took statins prescribed by my doctor. I know this, as I was put through several different statin trials trying to find one that works . My cholesterol numbers are only slightly elevated and the process seemed more like a sales pitch rather than a treatment. Each statin caused leg pain on different levels and all of them resulted in bilateral plantar fasciitis . Only after this last trial my right foot won’t recover. This boot works for me as long as I put the lowest and middle strap on snug so my heal stays down. I fasten the top strap almost as tight depending on the night and sock I’m using. Thins socks work better for me but your mileage may vary. My Achilles tendon felt loose after the first night but I guess that means it’s working. I also started taking magnesium citrate which seems to help. Some nights it works better than others but I suppose it could be the activity on that day. It’s not a cure but a treatment. I’m still trying to find a shoe or insole that will resolve this.

The brace is lightweight and easy to put on and take off, as there are only 3 buckles. When I sleep on my back, it keeps the covers from pressing on my toes and I wake without that sharp heel pain from plantar fasciitis. When sleeping on my side, it is just a little less effective, but that may be because I leave it a little bit loose. I would buy it again, if it ever wears out. Vendor delivered it timely as promised.

This is really a 3.5 star rating. As a night splint this works well and as awkward as it is to wear one, it keeps my foot in the proper position while I sleep. My biggest frustration is the placement of the clasps if you are wearing it on a right foot. The clasps are on the outer side of the leg and can’t be repositioned. They are very difficult to close because of where they are located. In order for the splint to work properly, it must fit well against the leg so you can’t keep the straps loose and slide your foot in and out of the splint. If the clasps could be positioned on the inside of the leg, this would be a fantastic product.

Helped a lot with my plantar fasciaitis. Read the instructions on how to use the boot. You need the top strap tight enough to hold the boot on, but the other straps around your leg and foot should be loose enough to take pressure off of your foot so you can sleep. If there's no way to relieve the pressure, the angle you've set may be too severe, and need to be loosened a little. It is heavy, and it will be difficult to sleep on the side opposite of the boot. Perhaps if the boot was lighter, and the exterior less rough, that might be different. Overall, this boot was very useful to me for recovering from plantar fasciaitis. Do NOT forget your stretches and foot massages that you should also be doing when you have plantar fasciaitis. You should also be following the advice of your podiatrist.

Size Large. I have a 13 size shoe. This is perfect. This is by far the best brace out there. It has great straps that really allow you to get the stretch you need. I am very happy with this product. But it. Throw it on and keep that tension on the foot. You will be healed up in no time.

Excellent design and quality of materials and construction, but for me at least, 100 worthless for plantar fasciitis. A total and complete waste of money. For me. Maybe it will work for you. I notice all these devices seem to help some people and do nothing for others. But I bet you won't find a better quality boot if that is what you are looking for; just didn't work for me.

I had a boot that was a bit large for me, and wasn't doing anything to improve my condition. I bought the small size. This works so much better and feels comfortable enough for me to sleep in. It is easy to adjust and form to your foot. I do not have the immediate pain in my heel anymore that I had when first waking up. Make sure you get the right size for yourself!

1. First night just wear it loose so your foot and more importantly your brain gets used to it 2. GRADUALLY tighten it from one night to the next 3. For me as long as you tighten the strap closest to my knee, the straps closer to the foot can stay loose, the big straps on either side are the most important anyway 4. You might feel like your foot is falling asleep but for me it was just the plantar tendon stretching, when I really thought about it my foot was not asleep 5. Know that an extremely small percent of people, think 1 of 1 need surgery so don't get down you will get better Good luck and take care!

I am so far impressed with this leg support brace. I have just recently started to deal with excruciating pain in my lower left foot, ankle and heel. At my age, situations like this , I guess, might be common place? Any way, the brace is comfortable, able to be used while sleeping and generally around the home. I will update this review, if needed. I do recommend this product and seller.

This thing actually works. I went to bed unable to walk. By 2:00 am, when the dog wanted to go out. Not thinking, I walked to the door, no pain. I either had tendinitis in my ankle, planter facetious, or something else. Either way, it was a week of Hobbling. Now it’s gone now.

I have MS and have bad drop foot. PT told me to get this type of splint because my calf muscles were tight causing my foot to want to n point. As soon as I put on splint it stretched my calf muscle and after 30 minutes relaxed my calf to wear I can move ankle freely. Happy with product

I absolutely love this foot brace which I'm using to help with Plantar Fasciitis. I am so impressed with the quality ... especially with it's low price point!. Some of the reviews express concerns with the velcro straps; I have zero concern with the straps as they are of very high quality. I find it a bit awkward to sleep with this all night long. I wear it while I'm relaxing on the couch, and I wear it for the first couple of hours of sleep. It really is helping and I find myself craving it and using it frequently when I'm not on my feel. Currently, I'm only having issues with one foot, but without question, if my other foot starts giving issues I will surely buy again. I am so grateful to whomever invented and manufactured this. And, a great big THANK YOU for the more than reasonable cost of such an amazing product. Oh .... one more thing: The videos on this site REALLY helped !

I have had plantar fasciitis for 7 months in my right foot. Hurts to walk everymorning and night. Sometime I was having shooting pain. I stretched constantly, did physical therapy, rolled on balls and frozen water bottles and used special boots and shoes. I've spend hundreds. The boot with the strap that pulls your toe upwards helped my I could only wear it foe 2 hours before my circulation was cut off and pain in the top of my foot. I wore this for the first time last night and my pain was nonexistent in the morning!!! I had the dumbest grin on my face walking around in the morning! It's life changing. I recommend you read the review by Victor for how to strap it on regarding tightness. It wasn't super comfortable but I could wear it all night without pain. If you're questioning buying this, i recommend it 1000 percent!!!

The plastic L shaped that goes under your foot and behind your leg won't keep your heal in the corner of the "L". There's no strap to hold your heal in place.

Well made product that works. I wear it overnight and have no more plantar issues. Crossing the bottom two straps helps to keep your heel from lifting. A little better padding on the straps would earn 5 stars.
