This thing has one good thing going for it. It is loud. and it does work... poorly. They have the amp button which does make it even louder but it distorts the audio pretty badly. you can head for a conversation but its notably distorted. So the mic mute button does not work even with the drivers installed. The voice is audible in the mic, but it is very low quality audio. The headphones themselves sound worse than headphones costing 1/4 this price. unless all you need is the volume amp then get something else. honestly a cheap gaming headset with a built in amp will sound better and be louder for cheaper. skip these for sure.

At the current price point, this is a nice headset assuming you want dual ear and usb connectivity. It sounds decent on calls, not amazing though - people on the other end will known your using a headset. Overall a good value for the features you get.

I've been having great difficulty in finding a decent headset for chatting via my PC. Bluetooth headsets have been giving me connectivity problems in Windows and noise cancellation is giving me problems in other ways. I don't WANT to cut out background sounds - sometimes I am playing audio or playing an instrument that I want the other end of my call to hear. And often the noise cancellation seems to create dropouts - words or syllables are missed and I'm asked to repeat what I said. I thought I'd give this set a try since it's wired (no connectivity issues) and there's no noise cancellation. Well, it does solve the problems mentioned above, but I'm not entirely thrilled with the microphone or speakers. They're OK but I've been getting used to pretty high quality sound with other products I use. The microphone makes it sound like you're in a tin can and the speakers sound like a cheap radio. Everything is clear but it's just kind of low quality. That said, the price is pretty reasonable and they're very easy to use, so I really can't complain. They do the job at a good price just not with premium sound quality. I should mention that anything that rubs up against the headphones or cord can be heard in the headphones rather loud, there's no dampening or insulation to isolate it. That can be a little annoying. There aren't any real instructions included but that's because they're so simple to use. You simply plug these into your PC and you're ready to go in a few seconds, Windows will instantly recognize the headset and switch your microphone and speakers to the headset. You may wish to go into the settings on your mic and speakers in Windows and adjust levels. One nice feature is that it includes a mute button, volume controls and an amplification button on the cord, which are pretty large and make it easy to control. The amplification really boosts the volume quite a bit so I imagine this is very helpful for people with hearing issues. If this were priced any higher I would probably lower my rating by one star, but at this price and for all the features and comfort I'd say this is a decent enough budget headset.

(can not test hearing aid functionality as I do not use one and do not know anyone that does) I got this as my on the go light laptop headset and it gets the basic job done, however it gets stars off for over advertising and a few annoying design choices: 1)It says "Ideally suited for high background noise environments" which led me to believe at least some level of noise cancellation or reduction, so far I can find none. Line feels intentionally misleading because of that. 2) The remote is fairly heavy and in combination with it having no clip to attach to clothing and the microphone being on same side, makes the set feel a bit lopsided, reducing comfort. Could be just a me thing, but I would have really preferred a clip on remote, a lighter remote or mic on other side for at least some counterbalance or a combination of those. None of these are deal breakers and the set is still comfortable enough, but certainly things to be aware of when deciding to buy.

I have this on a 10ft extension from my desktop it works well. I like the dedicated volume control on the cord not needing to adjust the level on the computer is great. They seem a bit large to me on my bare head but seem to want a pad wrapped around but work really well with my hat. Makes them perfect.

We bought this headset for our son's school computer use. While it lacks noise cancellation as we can hear his computer's audio it fulfills its main purpose. The absence of noise cancellation and an untested mic are minor drawbacks for us. The headset's wired connection ensures it's reliable for his school tasks, offering clear, loud audio for hands-free computer use. It's lightweight, making it comfortable for long periods, an essential feature for classroom wear. The included remote for volume and a Boost feature is handy, allowing quick adjustments without fiddling with computer settings, beneficial in noisy environments. Despite some features being untested in our use, this headset earns a solid 4-star rating from us for its clear audio and convenience, making it a suitable choice for educational purposes.
