Mission: The Christopher Robert Project has provided necessary supports and services to Thailand's remote tribal villages since 2012.The CR Project believes that everyone regardless of social stature should have access to sustainable solutions that meet urgent needs. Our concern is primarily wellness and education. In our vision of a lifetime of upward social mobility for Thailand’s tribal people, our sole mission is to provide sustainable solutions that meet urgent needs.
Results: 2012-2015 Orthopedic Initiative: Initial hospitalization for three months and three year followup for special shoes and braces for a child unable to bear weight. Child now running and climbing trees. 2012-2014 English language for 30 kids using tablet pcs on weekends2013 Gifted mosquito nets, t-shirts, sweatshirts and flip-flops, toys, books and art supplies, etc. 2013 Resupplied school learning materials after old school burned 2014-2015 English language for almost 90 kids on weekends2014 Funded a school in a small village of 35 homes with latrine2014 Built a wheelchair latrine for parents caring for two young adults suffering from post polio syndrome2014 Acquired special seating for handicapped village residents2014 Provided nutritional supplements to these handicapped individuals who could not eat a solid diet due to disability. 2015 Engaged two American artists from Chicago in the painting of a mural on a village kindergarten. Kids learned painting techniques and assisted the work. 2016 Village water analysis' tested poorly, headmen requesting help. Researched and developed a "jungle-tough", sustainable low tech-high impact solution. Water tested prior and post filter: Chiang Mai University, Science and Technology Center and now safe to drink. 2017 Researched and created a service-related travel program for conscious travelers interested in field work that makes a difference. 2018 Launched Jungle Water Adventures to train travelers in 2-12 week sessions to provide field work in our villages. 2019 Spring session begins. . .
