Turns black or moldy looking after being applied over time (approximately one year). The appearance is not nice looking at all.

We used this 5 years ago to close a giant gap in our siding five years ago, and we check it every year. So far it is as good as the year we patched it, no problems. Just make sure you follow directions exactly and use a well made caulking gun. Videos are helpful too.

I live in a recently remodeled apartment on the east coast and WE HAVE ROACHES in a fact-of-life way. I had caulked under my baseboards a few times but it only held a month or so before splitting letting the bastards back in however this caulk is incredible! Firstly the clear semi matte texture makes it INVISIBLE (landlord friendly Yw) secondly it does actually stretch and move w/the buildingmeaning no cracks, splits or gaps! It's held strong about 6 months now through extreme temps! I'll never live without this stuff
