The CRL Petite Series provides a complete spectrum of Hinges for frameless shower doors using 1/4" (6 mm) to 5/16" (8 mm) tempered safety glass. Developed to allow virtually every application configuration, they deliver design freedom. The Petite Series includes three unique types: The PET044 Wall Mount Flush Back Plate Hinge allows for a clean exterior sight line by having all mounting screws inside the shower; the PET181 Glass-to-Glass Hinge is used to mount a door to a fixed panel in a 180 degree plane, and allows the door to swing in a complete 180 degree arc outwards; the PET182 Glass-to-Glass Hinge allows the door to swing in a complete 180 degree arc inwards. Petite Hinges have mitered edges with curved corners to provide an aesthetically pleasing look. Petite Hinges have 25% thicker plates than competitive Hinges, thereby reducing deflection and providing greater holding power.
Using two hinges with 1/4" or 5/16" glass (6 or 8 mm) the hinge will hold up to 55 lbs. (25 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
Using three hinges with 1/4" or 5/16" glass (6 or 8 mm) the hinge will hold up to 82 lbs. (37 kg) with a maximum door width of 34" (864 mm).

These are the worst hinges. They began rusting in days leaving streaks all over the glass and wherever they dripped onto. Do not buy. Made from very cheap metal. I removed them because they made such a mess, staining everything they came into contact with. Do not buy. Look elsewhere.

These pieces have openings that are wide enough for adjoining thick boards. I use them to piece together plywood. Extremely sturdy. Quality built.
