I bought these because I needed steel toe boots and I couldn't find boots anywhere else. I've always bought shoes in a size 9, and I'm questioning this, but these are a bit big. They are also heavy. I try to move fast, run but then I end up looking weird when I'm running because my shoes are so heavy. They need to be broken in, I guess because they hurt the area above my ankles, so I wear them loosely. I just slip them on and off. I step in a lot of mud, water the boots hold up pretty well in those areas. I just stomp them off and keep it moving.
