When I received this, the shark was bent at the crease. I don’t know if that’s the reason, but it also does not float upright. My shark is basically half dead, and the container that holds the chlorine tablets barely sits under the water.

This product after 6 weeks starting tilting until 10 days later it just sunk to the bottom. Seams must be bad as water gets inside the white walls. My 10 yr old different brand stays above in 2nd pic while this one is at base near shadow. Will not but this again, was concerned when it arrived as capacity is pretty small also.

I bought two of these floaters because although there were some bad reviews, most people had no issues. Not sure if I got part of a bad batch or what, but the first one already has taken in water and sinks as soon as you put it in. The second one didn’t start being used until later, but it’s showing the same symptoms of going down. They are a waste of money and I regret throwing my old one away now.

I definitely like the size of this chlorinator But the quality of the plastic is dreadful. The interior wall of the outer ring had a crack in it And filled with water Now floats sideways.. Unusable

Little blue ring about the bottom (controls amount of chlorine) broke. We literally had it in the pool an hour. Cheap.

I regret purchasing these, I needed 2. The plastic is very cheap and here in Tucson, Arizona, cheap plastic gets eaten by the hot summer sun in a matter of months or sometimes even a matter of weeks. The tops of these chlorine floaters, which will be exposed to the hot summer sun all day every day, and will become extremely brittle and likely disintegrate before the season is out. Plus, one of them was broken when it arrived, rendering it completely useless.
