As it says in their headline these are heavy duty handles. Installed them on a solid wood door and it works great. NICE!

This is a heavy duty, commercial grade door lock. I installed this on the man door to our garage and it has vastly improved the security and ease of use of the door. The fit and finish are excellent and installation was very easy. A great value at the price point.

We have name brand commercial lock sets at our site and I know how expensive they are. We're completing a new building and came across this lock which is about 20 cheaper. The finish is nearly identical and the build quality is also close to the name brand, but the design seems more prone to breakage. We're installing this on an interior door, so I'm not concerned. It comes with a commercial sized strike plate which fit our metal framed doors. The keyway for this lock is horizontal and I've been led to believe this can lead to issues on an outdoor lock. I'll wait to see how this lock holds up before investing in more of them..

I was pleasantly surprised as to just how stout this "commercial-quality" door handle is made. I have seven children ranging all ages and man, can they put a strain on any door handle. I've had to replace several door handles on our entry door at the rear of our home (which is the door the children use the most) and due to poorer quality internals of normal home-quality door handles, they just keep dying on me. This one though, has ended this cycle, all because of how heavy duty the entire handle is designed/made. It installed easily and it actuates back and forth smoothly and the lock too, locks and unlocks easily. I can put my body weight down on either side of the lever, with zero flex, which is a huge indicator of future longevity (which put a huge smile on my face). Thus far, I couldn't be happier with this door handle but in the future, if it ever fails or becomes difficult to use (failure is then eminent), then I'll make sure to update this review. Highly recommended.

Sadly, I have to provide an update on this lock after two months. The key and lock mechanism have gotten pretty feisty and I almost panicked that the lock mechanism had failed all together. It took me about 5 minutes with a lot of twisting prying and bumping to get the key to turn and open the lock. I am not sure if mine is defective but the front of the handle continues to feel really spongy and bendable compared to other secure entry door handles that I have had. I have tried to reach out to the seller and cannot literally find any information on the warranty mentioned or how to get a hold of the seller. Just know you are on your own if you buy this and it fails like mine did. I'm now going to need a locksmith to remove the lock. We have a commercial lever door lock on our hvac room that looks identical to this one but never received a key. Fortunately the door is snug enough that the latch never engaged so we have been living with a risk that the door could become locked and we would then have to drill out the door lever. We took a chance to see if we could swap out the old door handle and replace it with this one. Holy cow it was a massive success! These lever door locks have a very small pin hole on the underneath side of the inside handle that must be depressed to pull the lever directly back. The included instructions and pin tool within this kit were immeasureably helpful in learning that the old lever door lock had this same hidden pin hole. This allowed me to remove the inside handle and associated hardware so that I could unscrew the lock from the inside. Once this was completed the "locked" side simply pulled out from the front of the door. Installation of the new lever door lock was a breeze and simply involved pushing the new outer lock through the front of the door and holding it into place while screwing down the retaining screws. One tip is that you do need to thread the door lock through the retaining bolt that extends into the door frame when it closes (aka the bolt that extends from the side of the door and enters the hole in the door frame). That takes a bit of wiggling and patience but is quite doable. Once the door was fully assembled I was able to confirm the lock worked perfectly with the new key and now have security that my hvac equipment is secured. I was super pleased with how this kit turned out and even the size of the door matched the old one with no need to paint around the round part of the door cover. 5/5 stars for being an excellent value.

This thing is QUALITY. It's incredibly heavy. The metal is thick and strong and beautifully polished. Everything appears to be precision cut with great quality at every turn. The locking mechanism on the handle is chunky and easy to use. I'm very impressed! Along with two keys, there's a very clear template as well as good written instructions. There's also a QR code for 3D interactive installation instructions (via their proprietary Bilt app). I haven't installed this yet, but I have every confidence that it will be a great improvement over my existing aging and ailing lock set.
