Product Description
Organically grown. These are whole oats with only the outer husk removed. Oat groats may be cooked whole or ground into flour. Oatmeal is made by steaming and then rolling these whole groats. Stabilized, not for sprouting.
Simmer 1 cup grain in 3 cups liquid for 2 hours.

I use this to make oat milk and it’s wonderful. Rolled oats produce an oat milk with a somewhat slimy texture, but these whole oat groats make a creamy delicious product. I freeze the leftover oat pulp and use it in baked oatmeal. It cooks up like steel cut oats.
