Mission: Avivo increases well-being through recovery, employment and career advancement. Our vision is of a community free of economic and health disparities. We are committed to undoing racism and reducing disparities experienced by the people we serve.
Results: In the past year, Avivo helped increase wellness for more than 4,200 men and women through our chemical and mental health services. Over 4,300 individuals found employment and more than 2,800 were able to exit welfare thanks to our employment and career education services.
Target demographics: Avivo serves nearly 15,000 Minnesotans each year, helping them achieve recovery, employment, and economic advancement. Founded in 1960, Avivo provides chemical and mental health services, career education, and employment services. We specialize in helping individuals and families who face personal or systemic barriers – poverty, homelessness, joblessness, chemical addiction or mental health concerns – achieve recovery and economic stability.
