RL Series Grade 2 Cylindrical Lever Locks
The RL Series offers removable through bolts and a wide variety of design.
The RL Series cylindrical locksets are an economical value for a variety of application. Perfect for multi-family housing markets, as well as light commercial applications.
- Construction - Cold rolled steel with zinc dichromate finish for corrosion resistance. Requires standard 2-1/8" (53.97mm) bore through door.
- Backset - 2-3/8" (60.31mm) or 2-3/4" (69.85mm)
- Door Thickness - Fits 1-3/8" (34.93mm) to 1-3/4" (44.45mm) doors standard.
- Latch - Brass 1/2" (12.7mm) throw, UL Listed, guarded latchbolt on all locking functions
- Latch Front - 1" x 2-1/4" (25.40mm x 57.15mm) for 2-3/8" backset (60.32.mm) or 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" for 2-3/4" (69.85mm) backset.
- Exposed Trim - RL Levers are pressure cast zinc measuring 4-3/4" (120.65mm) in length. RL Roses are wrought brass 3-3/8" (85.73mm) diameter. Total projection from face of door is 2-1/2" (63.5mm).
- Strike - 4-7/8" ANSI (123.83mm), 2-3/4" (69.85mm) T strike, or 2-1/4" (57.15mm) full lip strike.
- Cylinder - Solid brass 6 pin. Arrow "A" keyway standard. Available in Schlage CS keyway and other competitive keyways.

Keeps locking people out. The lock on instead makes people want to twist instead of push the button.. which cause it to lock. Then it doesn’t open up automatically

This lock is well made. Installation was easier than most. The storeroom configuration worked perfect for my need of all the time unlocked on one side and key access on the exterior. Highly recommend this brand. I used it commercially.

The Lever Handle Lock with Schlage Cylinder is hard to beat at this price point. Heavy steel construction along with well crafted security screws and everything one expects from quality commercial hardware. However, the best thing about it is the customer service that comes with it. I received this hardware yesterday afternoon, didn’t realize the door I was installing it on had a 2 3/8 backseat instead of the normal 2 3/4 backseat for commercial doors. I liked the hardware so much that rather than send it back, I contacted Lynn Hardware to just by chance see if they had a 2 3/8 latch for this hardware. They responded to my email within minutes, told me they had it, and after a couple back and forth emails with Brian, I completed the transaction around 4:30 PM yesterday and my part was overnighted to me last night and I just finished installing it at Noon today. Hardware works great, customer is happy and I’m satisfied. A big shoutout to Brian and the folks at Lynn Hardware.

I bought this lock for an outside metal gate. Unfortunately for me it didn’t fit as I had no room to adjust the gate. The lock was of much better quality than the one I ended up having to use. I emailed the company with a question and got a prompt response. I would recommend one of these locks in a minute.
