I bought this for making sourdough. I love the study glass and measurements on the side so i can monitor the rise and the secure lid so I can put it in the fridge without drying out the dough

I haven't yet used it for pancake batter, as I only got it this afternoon. But I do have chunks of sirloin steak with vegetables marinating for tomorrow's shish kabobs. It's perfect! I was fortunate enough to use the $10 off coupon, which makes it a great deal considering the quality. It's nice to have the measures embossed instead of painted measures that can wear off over time. The lid is also very nice, and fits perfectly onto the jug with a decent seal. I also got the Anchor Hocking measuring jug set and they're very nice - I just wish they were embossed like the batter bowl/jug. Anyway, it's a good, very sturdy piece and I'm delighted with it. If you're looking for a jug/bowl like this, I truly, highly recommend it. Last but not least - it's made in the United States.

This is a nice big mixing bowl that comes with it's own cover. I make homemade ice cream and I use this all the time when chilling the custard before the freezing process.

The lid is really hard to get on and off. Get a different one with a different lid.
