Anchor 78019 Carafe with Lid, 1-Liter, Price/each

I bought this so we can have it on the table during supper. It's not fancy, so it blends in with the rest of the stuff on the table. (That sounds so refined - The stuff on the table. Sheesh.) I'm glad I got it. It's dishwasher safe, which is nice....Since table water is so dirty. Wow. I'm on a migraine roll. Just get this. It's great.

These are very nice carafes, however, they promised lids but of the 3 I received, only 2 of them had lids.

Sturdy glass, holds a liter, looks nice, easy to grasp, pours well. A great and nontoxic way to keep water at my desk and hydrate properly.

I had purchased the smaller version--supposed to have a lid, but didn't--and took a chance on the large full-litre size--and it did come with a lid! I note that several customers have said that theirs did not but I found that a Pringles canister plastic cap (!) actually works: not a leak-proof fit but snug enough to keep bugs and dust out, esp. if you are using outdoors. The lid that it came with looks almost identical (for the full-litre size).I have put carafe in dishwasher with no problem. Again, it is as advertised but I have seen the same item for half the price in discount stores, so I wish that this was cheaper.However, good to know that a Pringles cap works in a pinch!

Good product easy to handle and very handy.
