The elastic is made to allow the skin to breathe reducing moisture and heat build-up. The 10" back panel tapers to six inches in the front and is fastened with Velcro closures. The dual closure straps support the back while lifting the abdomen. Four stays are sewn on to help maintain the shape of the brace while adding lumbar support. The removable elastic suspenders help to maintain the correct positioning of the brace while helping remind the user to use proper lifting posture and technique.
