I work at a brake and suspension shop, has taken a month of straight ass kicking abuse. Takes f250 track bar bolts off with 3 impacts. Dropped it a few times, slung it around, just keeps on kicking ass as soon as i pick it back up. Cant find anything better for the money.

This tool out performed brand new Ingersoll rand Mac matco and snap on 1/2 inch guns. Great power for a fraction of the price of the others. Also hilariously out performs Milwaukee cordless impact gun. The grip is a little uncomfortable and the forward reverse switch gets stuck occasionally but still the best gun I've ever used. Broke a stud clean off and the nut was loose on the broken stud. Thor is a beast.

Ive used this impact for month or two now and really put it through its paces. I work on tactical diesel trucks and this little impact (seriously small) packs a huge punch. 1 1/2 lug nuts torqued to well over 600 ft-Ibs come off with minimal effort. I tore this gun apart and the internals are super stout and extremely well machines for the price point it sells for. I wouldve been happy if this compared to an entry level low torque but WOW this Thor is sensational. Seriously cannot beat the reliability and power at this price point. My only gripe is the amount of air it consumes. The shop Im in has a very large air system and can accommodate, however Id imagine smaller air systems would struggle to supply enough air. Great product at a great price, really embarrasses the guys that spend up to a grand on tool truck pneumatics.

This impact lives up to its reputation. It's power is right on part with my coworkers SnapOn impact. The weight and noise levels are very satisfactory for its performance level. It's easy to use except the direction switch is pretty stiff at first but it's getting smoother. You definitely want to use 3/8 or 1/2 air hose and high volume fittings on a good high volume compressor. A small tank of 20 gallons or less will not give full power. I use this impact at work as a heavy truck mechanic and it has given me excellent performance. All in all I am 100 satisfied.

I used this impact doing mechanic work for 3 years this thing has never been stopped by anything. I have destroyed bushings that the bolt is seized in. It has removed rusty and bent cradle bolts. Snapped studs and suspension bolts. And thats running off 2 ancient 80 gallon compressors without high flow lines. It takes a lot of air as do most 1/2 impacts. It comes with a adapter to size it for a standard i think 3/8 line that most shops run it sounds like it has more to give if it had a bigger line with more cfm.

I bought this based on the TTC tests and let me tell you I've been impressed. I use it daily in a heavy diesel shop, it out preforms my coworkers tool truck 1/2' impacts any day. I've had nothing but praises for it, up until a month ago.I found the weak link, the anvil, it twisted off finally after about a year of abuse, I contacted Astro to get a replacement, was told to email proof of purchase and my address to them, and they would email me confirmation, I did, a week passed and I never heard anything back, so I called again, got a different rep that told me the same thing, this time I got a confirmation that told me the new anvil should arrive from 5-7 business days. It has been 15 business days now. I emailed them again wondering what they as going on on day 10 and haven't heard anything back.I love this tool and have had nothing but good to say about them and any of the other tools they offer, this warranty experience however totally blows. I'm less efficient at work and have to constantly borrow my co-workers impact until this is resolved, and I refuse to buy another since this should be under warranty. I feel like they make great tools but drop the ball extremely when it comes to customer support, at least my experience.

I run mine on a 1-in airline running about 110 PSI able to remove semi Wheels that are torqued to 550 foot pounds with no issues
