This is a really informative book on sign language I bought this to replace a book that was stolen when I took an ASL class in high school. It's by far one of the best books on ASL you can find. Lots and lots of pictures of the different signs with notations throughout.

This book had a lot of explicit grammar and syntax information, but the signs didn't make much sense to me when I saw them in person and compared them to the book.

There’s some dangerously outdated vocabulary in this, with some words that would be offensive to use, especially for referring to nationality, so use caution and double check with Deaf people or online! I find the exercises kind of confusing and boring, but fine.

My item was somehow missing for about a day and all of a sudden the item was in the mailbox room. It claimed the item had been delivered but actually didn’t arrive until the next day. It made me think either the package was stolen or it never got delivered. I have my book now. It’s in excellent condition and I am satisfied.

I use this in college and my son has it now in high school. He couldn't use mine cuz it was a bit tattered. My only negative comment is I wish it was in hardback I would pay extra for that
