Sometimes understanding the classifiers can be tricky, but this book definitely makes learning grammar and structure rules much, much easier!

This book is a very good reference book and works well with the ASL class cirriculum that spans the Introductory and Intermediate levels of learning.ASL sentence structure comparisons with spoken english structure is clear and precise. The incorporated english word to ASL symbology dictionary is well defined.

I ordered this book used, in "good" condition. What I received was a book that yes, is still useable, but has pages torn out. The pages are still there, but not attached to the spiral binding. Each page is perforated, like a notebook. 12 of my pages have fallen out. As far as I can tell, no pages are missing. So yes, I can still use this book. However, I paid for "good" condition, and I feel I received "adequate." Had I wanted an adequate used condition book, I would have ordered one listed as adequate and saved about $13. I'm very disappointed.

This book is used by my ASL-American Sign Language teacher who deaf. So it is a great training tool in the classroom and as well on my own. Plenty of room to write notes, which is necessary. So far I am doing well with it.

I didn’t like the layout at first, but it followed along with the ASL class my husband and I took and it is very good. I like the practice assignments at the beginning of each chapter.

My mom headed up the sign language program for Knox county schools in TN. She used this book because it was the closest to the accurate signs the deaf use to communicate. Many sign books get it wrong, this one does a good job. The deaf teachers who taught for her said it was the best they had seen.

i ordered this book for a class i am taking. i have learned so much. i ordered it late and still had for my class. i then ordered the study guide and a "help pamphlet" (dont remember the name). All have been phenomenal for this class.

This is a great ASL book! It is detailed and written in a way where it can be used for lessons. I like how small it is and I also love the spiraled version; I can lay it flat and close it easily. I am using it for a beginner ASL class. I think it will be very helpful.
