When a slight breeze comes up the umbrella wiggles back and forth above the crank. The screws work themselves out with the movement of the umbrella. With time the plastic crank starts to stick and you can't get the umbrella down. It was only used 3 months last summer.

I bought 4 navy umbrellas for my back patio!!! Once I put them up and used them I realized that I needed 2 more, so I bought more!!! I love the way that you can tie them up when it gets windy and they are so easy to adjust or tilt!!! Thank you for such a nice product!!! I bought 6 for the price of 1 anyplace else.
