I do love it, it's just like the one I've been using that was my mother's and was about 30 years old. Hers, however, was aluminum. There is one problem with yours - it is not flat on the bottom so when it is percolating, it jumps all over. I put a coil under it that I use with my glass pot and that stops it, but it takes longer to perk. Even sitting on the counter,you can tell it's not flat.

This item appears to be just what I wanted. The size is perfect. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to use it since the glass knob fell off and broke. I think it should have been taped in place. I want it so I ordered 2 replacement knobs.
