Founded in 2026, DIMEMIND – The Justin Lamar Washington Legacy Foundation was created to honor the life of Justin, a US Navy Veteran. After Justin’s death by suicide, a tragedy connected to his service related condition, his mother, Ramona, decided to start her journey to healing through helping others.

Our organization exists to transform that grief into action and build a community centered approach to suicide awareness and prevention. Our mission is rooted in our tagline: Honoring a Life. Advocating for All.

Through our flagship initiative, The Guardian Exchange, we provide culturally relevant education, crisis response resources, and safe storage awareness to help youth, Veterans, and families navigate moments of vulnerability with support and dignity. As a new nonprofit, we are laying the groundwork for long term impact by organizing the inaugural G RACE Walk/Run — Guardians Rebuilding Awareness, Connection, and Empowerment.

This event will introduce our mission to the community, honor Justin’s life, and mobilize advocates committed to addressing mental health and preventing suicide by erasing the stigma associated.

We operate with heart, urgency, and a commitment to saving lives through connection, ensuring that Justin’s legacy becomes a source of empowerment for all who walk with us.
