The nuts are great, except the cashews were completely over roasted. They were all dark brown, dried out, really crunchy and shriveled with a burnt taste.

These nuts are delicious and fresh and great value, and I am happy to support a local Southern California business. But the resealable bags are not resealable. I'm not saying that you have to futz with them to get them to work; I mean they don't work at all. Ever. Please switch to the packaging where you pull it apart a couple inches from the top. (This superior type of reclosable bag is often used for 5-lb bags of rice at the supermarket.)

Many of the larger nuts like walnuts and pecans are mere fragments. There are halves of cashews. So far i have seen all of two pistachio nut halves. Like any but the most costly deluxe nut mixtures, there is overemphasis on almonds which here are quite small. The nuts do come fresh, however in a resealable bag.
