If you are wiring this as a replacement, into a system that already has everything else in place (Thermostat, transformer, limit switches, etc.), be sure to realize that if your system only requires that you power the two wires that energize the gas valve solenoid, it will likely need to have the two wires from your old gas valve connect to the outside 'TH' 'TR' terminals. Only the PRINTED ILLUSTRATION shows the coil symbol for the solenoid between these terminals, it is NOT indicated on the valve itself and there is nothing in the instructions to explain this variation of installation. You might be convinced you need to attach wires to the two 'TR' terminals, (outer and middle) which is not so, Other than that, the valve itself worked beautifully for replacing a valve that could no longer be purchased.

This seller gets thing done. Furnace stopped working Saturday morning. Spent the day troubleshooting it and found the gas valve coil was open. Ordered the part Sunday evening, order was marked as picked up at 440pm Monday in Austin Texas, arrived in Louisville, Kentucky by midnight, Indianapolis by 330am and Bloomington, Illinois by 730 and out for delivery at 830. Arrived at my house 2pm the next day.Part was perfect and installation took less than an hour. When the wife arrived home she was very pleased to have heat again. Supposed to get real cold tonight and colder yet in the coming week. Thank you Ferguson Enterprises.

Replacement for gas valve 2E725. Our rental property has an older furnace. The furnace had suddenly stopped heating the house. Checked the furnace pilot light first. The pilot light was burning normally thus eliminating the thermocouple and valve body internal safety shutoff valve as the problem (note: if pilot light doesn't stay lit, possible problem would likely be thermocouple malfunction or internal electro mechanical safety shutoff valve. The valve is operated by applying 24VAC to the main electro mechanical valve in the body. Checked 24VAC transformer, transformer secondary was outputting 24VAC. Using a voltmeter, found 24VAC was being applied directly to the electro mechanical valve on the proper terminals eliminating thermostat or high temperature protection switch. Removed old valve and installed this replacement valve using the included size adapter for connecting to the burner manifold. Used the included jumper to jump out the unneeded high temperature safety connection as the high temperature switch was already in series with the 24VAC transformer power. Time spent replacing valve was 90 minutes at most from start to finish. Furnace is now working perfectly as before. Sorry if my terminology regarding the valve body parts isn't correct, I am an EE, not an HVAC technician.
