Although it is described as a ‘free standing’ headboard, it’s not! Be prepared to attach the headboard to the wall. Otherwise, it’s an accident waiting to happen. The headboard is very nice. Just loses a star on the misleading description.

I just got it. It’s so pretty. It was very easy to put together and I love it! Some reviews say there is a smell, but mine doesn’t have a strong smell. I would recommend it 100.

We installed it on the wall, using French cleat, like they do hotel headboards. (We got this idea from reading someone else's review). It works perfectly. We have two twin beds and one king headboard. It makes the bed look finished.

I like the look (minus the scratch that I will have to touch up) I was floored that it didn’t have the 8 screws and washers needed to attach it to the bed frame. Off to Home Depot now..

The color is ivory,,, perfect match,,, good quality,,, looks great,, very detailed packaging keeps it safe,,, easy assembly,,, had to drill holes to attach to frame but otherwise,,, I’m very impressed
