I like the muffs. Ended up buying the gel inserts because they were uncomfortable for long term wear. When sitting in a quiet background with the volume up there is a constant hum/static.

Can't believe how good these ear muffs are. Completely cancelled any firearms sound and can hear people talking to me completely clear without having to say what?. Honestly improved my shooting capabilities due to the sound cancelation. I have to qualify with a handgun every year due to my employment and can honestly say my shooting has improved. Also, very comfortable and stylish. Also don't stick out ridiculously far away from your head like dated ear muffs used to.

I am happy with the purchase so far. Although I prefer in-the-ear devices rather than over-the-ear for comfort, the in-the-ear are good for short range times or hunting where the sound is not constantly loud. The over-the-ear seem to protect better and also can keep ears warm on colder days.

Re-qualification at the police academy was tough. Part of the course was firearms. These ear protectors worked perfectly. I could hear the firearms instructor during the course. I have a large head so when wearing a ball cap, protective glasses, and these headphones it was comfortable. For the price these ear protectors was worth it. No problems with the mic. The noise cancellation worked as described.

These were better than I expected. Was able to take my son to the range and not worry about hearing protection. They totally reduced muzzle noise but were still able to hear each other talk and any range commands. Would definitely recommend
