Saw something like this Homeplace wood-fired pizza in Burnsville, NC. Way better than carrying wood and is much more efficient than a wheelbarrow. You can get a lot of wood in this and it is easy to move. The handle needs to be 5"-10" longer for more leverage. I'm average height of 5'8" and I have to bend my back a bit to push this forward. Should be standard hand-truck height. Would also help to be about 1-2 inches narrower for those short off-cuts, although the cloth-like thing helps. The wheel bolts are quite sturdy, but hard to torque down; I used an impact wrench.

I didn't think that I would need to be sure of the length of the would that would matter in hauling wood glad for that strip of material and the bungie tells me I could load up more as well if I wanted to. But over all I am happy with the purchase was using a tote to haul wood in or by the arm load. I am a older gal and live alone.
