Visaton's B 100 4" paper cone full-range driver produces response up to 20,000 Hz to deliver natural sound without the need for a tweeter. With an aluminum phase plug, basket, and shorting ring, Visaton designed this speaker to provide low distortion response with impressive efficiency.

The compact B 100, from Visaton is a 4" full-range driver capable of producing natural response with extremely low distortion. The paper cone provides excellent damping to keep resonant peaks under control for a non-fatiguing sound. An aluminum shorting ring and phase plug keep the voice coil inductance under 0.4 mH which lowers distortion while improving high frequency response. A cast aluminum frame supports the large ferrites motor and provides ample space to reduce reflection from the cone and includes extensive venting under the spider. This 6 ohm driver is an excellent choice for use in compact speakers, portable speakers, or even sound bars.
