Huge upgrade from the "wheezy blender motor jabbed through a board" in my Eureka 1495 from 1978. Full ball bearings on both top and bottom of motor vs the original bushing top/ ball bearing on lower on old motor. New motor fits mounts as if it was OEM. Didn't use original intake cooling ducting on mine, but I don't expect that to be an issue because this motor has dual side exhaust ducts and probably won't be running in stall current constantly. The original motor just exhausted to the inside of the case anyway. Went from 480 watts to 1200. Not much louder at all really. That vacuum bag is taut now, that is for sure.

Motor bearing failed. This was a perfect replacement to extend the life of our vacuum. Very pleased with the purchase.
