I bought this to load washers and dryers by myself, i have a 2008 toyota tundra works good, does hit the tailgate cable but just barely and you can easily manipulate the load to make it passed it, heavy, platform does shift around just make sure you secure the load with straps

I needed this to load equipment into my truck, does the trick. I only wish the had made the part under the platform a square tube with two quick release pins. That way the bar with hoist could be broken down even further for easy transport and storage.

I ordered this for my husband for his birthday and he just used it the first time. He said it was easy to install for those with a little mechanical knowledge. It works as advertised and kept him from having to call a buddy to load his first deer for the year. The deer pictured was 100 lbs for reference.
