I first used it on rubber trim, then I used it to paint my pealing chrome bumper (after scraping and scuffing the pealing chrome off).The appearance of this black is very desirable. It's better than flat, satin or semi-gloss. and it DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A SPRAY CAN PAINT JOB.My neighbor asked me if I got a new bumper. A great compliment.

I have used this in the past on my car trim items and liked the result so I tried it on my faded faux shutters on my house. They are plastic and brick red in color so I used the clear product. I tested a small area first and the results looked good. I proceeded to do all the other shutters and they look brand new. I saved several hundreds of dollars vs. replacement. One can does about five shutters. If you have ever used the hairdryer method to restore faded plastic this seems to accomplish the same effect only chemically instead of thermally. It seems more of a chemical conversion of the surface than a coating.As for durability it has lasted about two years on my garaged cars and one year on the exposed cars before I start noticing fading once again. We'll have to see what happens with the house shutters as time goes on.Highly recommended.

Dark gray was an excellent match for Nissan Frontier rear bumper pads. Will likely be painting a few more areas as well. Will see about durability but so far am pleased with this product.

This was a find and nearly perfect match to address the sun bleached plastic molding on our 20 yr old Volvo. It was beyond any plastic trim renewal product.This product was perfect. Volvo color match would have been 50 for a small can.. this was under 20 and nearly perfect. Wish idndid before pix.. it was evident with streaking and white patches.. looked crummyNot now.. really happy with itEasy to use
